Law360, New York (January 08, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A judge has picked a case brought by a welder who allegedly developed manganese-induced Parkinsonism from exposure to toxic fumes caused by the tools of his trade as the next bellwether trial in the multidistrict welding fume litigation.
In a decision Monday, Judge Kathleen McDonald O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio chose the case of Eddie Byers over two others that had been certified as being ready to take to trial.
