Teflon Consumers Call For Sanctions Against DuPont

Law360, New York (February 11, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over Teflon-coated cookware have asked a court to sanction maker E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. for delaying the production of documents and slowing progress in the $5 billion product liability case.

The consumers told the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa on Friday that the chemical manufacturer's feet-dragging forced them to take witness depositions without the benefit of full discovery.
