FDA Says Its Foreign Inspections Need A Face-Lift

Law360, New York (April 22, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- Strengthening the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's ability to police pharmaceuticals coming from hundreds of overseas facilities will take not only budget boosts but also a sweeping overhaul of the inspection system, the agency commissioner told lawmakers Tuesday.
