Law360, New York (January 12, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A lobby group for U.S. trial lawyers has called on the forthcoming Obama administration to overturn current federal preemption policy that it claims has afforded “complete immunity to negligent corporations” and deprived Americans of their right to sue under state consumer protection laws.
