Judge Tosses 2 Cases In Seroquel MDL

Law360, New York (January 28, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- A federal judge has dismissed two lawsuits in the product liability multidistrict litigation over anti-psychotic medication Seroquel, including one that was scheduled to begin trial next week.

Tony Jewell, a representative for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, said that a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida granted the company's motions for summary judgment during a hearing Wednesday.
