Law360, New York (April 01, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Following the launch of numerous product liability suits over purportedly dangerous design flaws in Yamaha Motor Corp. USA’s Rhino all-terrain vehicle, the company has agreed to suspend sales of the vehicles and provide free repairs to customers.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that it had issued a recall notice for the Rhino 450 and 660 model off-highway recreational vehicles and advised consumers to immediately stop using the ATVs until they are repaired.
