Grace Tries To Quash Libby Claimants' Depositions

Law360, New York (May 01, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- W.R. Grace & Co. has asked a judge to enjoin a group of asbestos injury claimants who oppose the bankrupt chemical maker's reorganization plan from taking 17 video depositions, contending the testimony is irrelevant to the confirmation of the Chapter 11 plan.

The company filed a motion Thursday in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware objecting to the deposition notices and seeking a protective order.
