Law360, New York (May 04, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- German automotive and defense technology company Rheinmetall AG has asked a federal court to toss claims against the company in long-running litigation against several multinational corporations that allegedly helped the South African government persist in its apartheid policies.
Rheinmetall filed a motion Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York arguing that the plaintiffs had failed to establish that the court has jurisdiction over the German company.
