Blocking Keystone Could Cost Millions, Texas Court Hears

Law360, New York (March 07, 2012, 9:38 PM ET) -- TransCanada Keystone Pipeline LP asked a Texas appeals court Wednesday to end a restraining order blocking an eminent-domain land claim for the Keystone XL fuel pipeline, after arguing in a February hearing that project delays could cost $4 million per day.

The appeals court issued the order Friday barring Keystone from entering or disturbing the Crawford Family Farm Partnership's land it had claimed under eminent domain in December as part of a right-of-way for the Gulf Coast section of the pipeline project.
