Clean Energy Group Slams Proposed NY Project Permit Regs

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 3:34 PM ET) -- Proposed rules governing New York's new law designed to streamline the permitting process for power projects are rife with serious shortcomings, including spineless provisions for overriding local legal obstacles, the Alliance for Clean Energy New York Inc. said Wednesday.

ACE NY Executive Director Carol E. Murphy aired the clean power development group's concerns in comments filed with the state's Public Service Commission, the agency tasked with hammering out regulations governing the Power NY Act, commonly referred to as Article X.
