Australian State Toughens Fracking Disclosure Standards

Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 9:01 PM ET) -- Though shale and coal bed gas development in Western Australia is still years away, the state government unveiled a new set of regulations Wednesday that mandate public disclosure of any chemicals inserted into wells or other formations used to harvest natural gas.
