Deals Rumor Mill: Tiger Airways, Fresenius, EnCap

By Benjamin Horney (October 17, 2014, 5:38 PM EDT) -- Singapore-based Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd. is set to sell its 40 percent stake in low-cost airline Tiger Australia to Virgin Australia Airlines for less than the price of a vending machine candy bar, according to a Friday report from Dow Jones. Virgin, which already holds a 60 percent stake in the struggling airline company, will reportedly pay AU$1 ($0.88) to pick up the remaining 40 percent, Dow Jones said. The report didn't specify what, if anything, Tiger Airways plans to do with the proceeds....
