Law360, New York (November 09, 2009, 4:19 PM ET) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is inching closer to issuing rules concerning greenhouse gas emissions, reportedly asking the White House for final input on whether such gases endanger human health and welfare.
Reuters reported Monday that EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson had sent a final proposal on greenhouse gas emissions to the White House for review.
She said the Office of Management and Budget had up to 90 days to review the final proposal. The EPA would prefer a quicker turnaround, Reuters reported.
