Senate Shelves Oil Spill Bill Until Sept.

Law360, New York (August 03, 2010, 6:17 PM ET) -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., on Tuesday yanked a scaled-back bill to address the BP PLC oil spill and clean energy job creation, postponing a vote on the legislation until after the August recess in order to give Senate leaders more time to scrape together enough votes to pass the bill.
