Staying Compliant With Justice's New ADA Changes

Law360, New York (September 16, 2010, 1:31 PM ET) -- Employers who are subject to Title II (state and local governments) or Title III (places of public accommodation and commercial facilities) of the Americans with Disabilities Act will face a variety of new requirements, including new accessible design requirements, pursuant to the U.S. Department of Justice’s revisions to its Title II and Title III regulations, 28 C.F.R. Parts 35 and 36, which were finalized on July 23, 2010, and published in the Federal Register on Sept. 15, 2010.
