Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 2:28 PM ET) -- South Korea and Canada have reached an agreement that ends a nearly nine-year ban on certain Canadian beef exports, Canada’s agriculture and international trade ministers announced Friday.
“I’m pleased to announce this morning ... that Canadian beef under 30 months of age can be exported immediately to South Korea,” Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz said at a press conference Friday in Alberta.
