GM, NHTSA Defend Volt Probe From GOP Allegations

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 3:32 PM ET) -- Facing Republican lawmakers' accusations of delays and dishonesty, General Motors Inc. and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Wednesday defended their probe of a battery defect in the Chevrolet Volt, saying the vehicle was safe and that NHSTA tests were properly disclosed.
