Law360, New York (April 18, 2012, 5:37 PM ET) -- The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a bill that would require federal regulators to approve the politically charged Keystone XL pipeline within 30 days, prompting the White House to renew its threat to veto.
The provision, attached to legislation to extend funding for highways and mass transit through September, moves approval of the 1,700-mile pipeline from the U.S. State Department to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
