Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 3:27 PM ET) -- TransCanada Corp. said Friday that it had applied for a permit from the Obama administration to construct the northern U.S. portion of the Keystone XL pipeline, a controversial project previously rejected by the White House to the dismay of Republicans in Congress.
