Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 6:44 PM ET) -- The Food and Drug Administration user fee bill hit a snag on the Senate floor Tuesday, when majority leader Harry Reid delayed taking up the bill until both sides agree to limit amendments on the must-pass legislation.
Reid, D-Nevada, pushed back the consideration of the bill and amendments, originally scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, to Wednesday morning. He said that unless senators can agree to a "finite list of amendments" to consider, the bill will continue to be delayed.
