Law360, New York (June 08, 2012, 10:08 PM ET) -- Top House Republicans hit the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with another round of information requests Friday, claiming the agency may have misrepresented the compliance cost of new regulation on power plant emissions to the tune of $70 billion.
The House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Republican chairs sent a letter to EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson calling on the agency to account for the total cost of complying with the rule, saying in previous correspondence the EPA had provided a partial estimate.
