EU Could Rain On Cloud Strategy With Too-Tight Data Rules

Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 6:39 PM ET) -- A European Union commissioner on Monday continued to push for a pan-European strategy for protecting information stored in the cloud, an initiative that attorneys say will win support if it sheds strict international transfer rules contained in the bloc's recently proposed data protection overhaul.
