Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 10:49 PM ET) -- Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott's office said Wednesday that it was evaluating an appeal of the D.C. Circuit's Tuesday decision upholding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's greenhouse gas regulations, which impose lower carbon dioxide emission standards on state industry.
Immediately following the decision, Abbott said “it failed to rein in the unelected bureaucrats at the agency who are holding our country's energy independence and fragile economy hostage to a radical environmental agenda.”
