Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 5:00 PM ET) -- The Massachusetts Legislature on Thursday approved a tribal compact signed by Gov. Deval Patrick and the Mashpee Wampanoag Native American tribe to construct a casino that could bring in more than $500 million in annual revenues.
The Massachusetts Senate voted 27-8 to approve the compact, which passed the state's House of Representatives last week. Each chamber has given final procedural approval to the bill, which will go to Patrick's desk to be signed.
