Commerce Says China, Vietnam Cos. Dumped Wind Towers

Law360, New York (July 27, 2012, 4:08 PM ET) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Friday that it had reason to believe Chinese and Vietnamese companies sold utility-scale wind towers in the U.S. at below-market prices, the first step toward imposing anti-dumping duties on the products.

The agency's probe, announced in January, showed Chinese companies had sold dumped their products on the American market at a 20.85 percent to 72.69 percent margin, while the Vietnamese shipments were at a 52.67 percent to 59.91 percent margin.
