Law360, San Diego (August 30, 2012, 9:58 PM ET) -- The California Senate on Wednesday passed a bill that would bar companies in the state from posting job advertisements noting that applicants must be currently employed.
The full Senate voted 23-13 in favor of A.B. 1450, which blocks businesses from advertising that an applicant’s current employment is a requirement for a job or that an employer will not consider an applicant who is unemployed.
