Texas To Ask Supreme Court To Review Voter Map Ruling

Law360, Dallas (August 31, 2012, 7:51 PM ET) -- Texas filed a formal notice Friday that it would appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court an Aug. 28 federal court decision that held its redistricting maps discriminated against minorities, while a separate federal panel in Texas ruled Friday the state won’t have to draw new maps before November’s general election.
