CMS Plans Further Crackdown On Test-Strip Billing

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 8:30 PM ET) -- A competitive bidding program has dramatically lowered prices for diabetic test strips that cost Medicare more than $1 billion annually, and federal regulators are planning additional measures to reduce bills even more, according to an inspector general’s report Tuesday.
