Philip Morris Halts Graphic Warning Rule In Thailand

Law360, New York (August 27, 2013, 8:23 PM ET) -- A Thai court has temporarily blocked the country's government from forcing tobacco manufacturers to increase the size of graphic health warnings on cigarette packs from 55 to 85 percent of the packaging, a Philip Morris International unit said Monday.

The court on Friday granted a preliminary injunction requested by Philip Morris (Thailand) Ltd. in its lawsuit against Thailand's Ministry of Public Health over the measure, according to the company.
