Strict New Fracking Law In Calif. Could Face Legal Threats

Law360, San Diego (September 24, 2013, 9:48 PM ET) -- California’s governor has signed into law the nation's strictest requirements for hydraulic fracturing, and attorneys say although the legislation will provide certainty for companies looking to extract oil and gas in the state, challenges over the new law’s trade secret provisions and permitting process could be in store.
