Calif. Lets Minors Remove Online Posts They Later Regret

Law360, San Diego (September 24, 2013, 10:03 PM ET) -- Strengthening privacy protections for children who use Facebook and other social media, California Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday approved a measure that allows minors in the state to remove inappropriate material they have posted online.

The governor signed into law S.B. 568, which was carried by state Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento.
