For-Profits Exempt From Birth Control Rule, DC Circ. Told

Law360, Washington (September 24, 2013, 3:24 PM ET) -- The Catholic owners of a fresh produce processor urged a D.C. Circuit panel on Tuesday to block the federal government from forcing them to comply with the Affordable Care Act's contraception mandate, maintaining that they are entitled to run their for-profit corporation in agreement with their religious beliefs.
