While traditional cigarettes use burning tobacco to create smoke that is inhaled, e-cigarettes heat a liquid gel that typically contains nicotine, flavors, additives and propylene glycol. The heated liquid forms an aerosol vapor that is inhaled by the user. The majority of imported e-cigarettes are from China, where most of these devices are manufactured without any regulations or safety standards. E-cigarettes are marketed as a safer alternative to tobacco cigarettes, but new concerns about their safety are coming to light....
