Calif. Proposes Tougher Rules For Toxic-Site Owners

Law360, New York (April 09, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- California's toxic substances regulator on Thursday proposed changing the rules governing its care of closed toxic sites, seeking to implement a stricter financial test for site owners, to clarify the length of time they must provide economic assistance for site operations and to amend their insurance requirements.
