Law360, New York (April 29, 2009, 12:00 AM ET) -- Numerous consumer, employee and other advocacy groups have gathered in Washington, D.C., to rally support for a bill that would invalidate forced arbitration agreements for certain workers, consumers and franchisees.
On Wednesday, the groups held Arbitration Fairness Day, an effort to bring attention to the Arbitration Fairness Act of 2009, introduced in the House as H.R. 1020 and sponsored by Rep. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga.
