Law360, New York (November 05, 2010, 5:16 PM ET) -- Quanta Indemnity Co. has filed a suit asking that it be allowed to abandon policyholder Southern Homes LLC to a horde of plaintiffs who have sued over faulty Chinese drywall it allegedly used in home-building.
Southern's commercial general liability policy with Quanta has a raft of exclusions that should let the insurer off the hook, it said Thursday in a suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
