NYC Rent Laws Trap Landlords In J-51 Program, Atty Says

Law360, New York (May 23, 2012, 6:58 PM ET) -- An attorney for a thousand-unit New York City apartment complex begged a state appeals court Wednesday to clarify the law on J-51 tax breaks after the landmark Stuyvesant Town decision, saying the city should allow the complex to withdraw from the tax abatement program.
