Law360, New York (June 27, 2012, 2:00 PM ET) -- Four contractors sued New York City for more than $60.8 million on Tuesday, alleging they were stiffed for work on a maintenance garage for garbage trucks that is just now nearing completion, nearly five years behind schedule.
Tully Construction Co. Inc., J.H. Electric of New York Inc., Almar Plumbing & Heating Corp. and Dart Mechanical Corp. say the city delayed requests for necessary permits, failed to coordinate work and limited their access to the site, which put the project hopelessly behind schedule.
