Bankruptcy Trustee, Brokers Duck FCA Kickback Claims

Law360, New York (July 09, 2012, 5:26 PM ET) -- A Washington federal judge on Monday dismissed a False Claims Act suit brought by married real estate managers, saying their claims that their bankruptcy trustee undervalued their property as part of a kickback scheme were not pled specifically enough.

U.S. District Judge James L. Robart gave the couple, Paramjeet and Sunita Malhotra, leave to file more specific complaint within 20 days.
