Trenton Again Sued For Rent Over Court Lease Default

Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 8:29 PM ET) -- A company that won a more than $684,000 judgment against Trenton, N.J., after the city broke its lease for a planned courthouse space was back in court Wednesday seeking another $214,000 in rent and other expenses.

Again flexing its rights under a 20-year, $7.9 million lease, Plainfield, N.J.-based Westside Plaza LLC contends that while judgment may have been entered against the city for its obligations through February 2012, it's owed more money for March through August.

The company is demanding nearly $170,000 in rent as well...
