$2B NYC Cornell Tech Campus Gets Community Board OK

Law360, New York (December 21, 2012, 3:42 PM ET) -- The Manhattan community board responsible for reviewing development projects on Roosevelt Island gave Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology the green light Thursday to move forward in the land-use approval process for their $2 billion science and technology campus.

Manhattan Community Board 8 approved the plan to build a sprawling campus on a 12-acre parcel of the island exactly one year after the city selected Cornell and Technion to develop the project.
