Law360, New York (January 18, 2013, 6:19 PM ET) -- Prosecutors are negotiating a possible plea deal with Mark Hotton, a consultant accused of defrauding the producers of defunct Broadway musical “Rebecca” and a Connecticut real estate company, an assistant U.S. attorney said Friday.
Prosecutors have met with Hotton's attorney to discuss a deal and intend to meet with him again soon, Assistant U.S. Attorney Edward B. Diskant said at a hearing in Manhattan before U.S. District Judge John Koeltl.
“The defendant and government are engaged in active discussion regarding a disposition,” Diskant said.
