Law360, New York (January 30, 2013, 2:56 PM ET) -- A New Jersey lawmaker introduced on Monday new legislation that would install “integrity monitors” to ensure that the influx of federal dollars allotted for repairing the damage from Superstorm Sandy is not used fraudulently.
New Jersey Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney sponsored the bill, S2536, which would assign monitors from the State Treasury Department to keep watchful eyes over federally funded recovery and rebuilding projects.
