Md. Panel Rejects Hotel In $1.8B Johns Hopkins Project

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 3:06 PM ET) -- A Baltimore panel on Thursday declined to give its stamp of approval on the design of a hotel that will be part of a larger $1.8 billion redevelopment project surrounding Johns Hopkins University.

The Urban Design and Architecture Review Panel declined to recommend the schematics of the 182-room hotel, dubbed the Gateway Hotel, due to its size and connection to a nearby park.
