By Linda Chiem (February 18, 2015, 6:11 PM EST) -- U.S. buyout firm Advent International Corp. is gearing up to hire banks for an initial public offering of German cosmetics and perfume chain Douglas Holding AG, Bloomberg reported Wednesday. The private-equity firm is reportedly working with adviser Lilja & Co. to pick underwriters for the intended IPO in Frankfurt, which would take place sometime in the second half of this year, the report said. Advent may also be open to considering takeover offers for Douglas Holding, which it bought in 2012. Douglas Holding is a leading European retail conglomerate that consists of Douglas perfumeries, Thalia bookstores and Appelrath Cupper clothing stores....
