By Chelsea Naso (March 17, 2015, 6:13 PM EDT) -- Zhejiang Ant Small & Micro Financial Services Group Co., Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.'s finance arm, is planning to use a partnership structure to allow top management to maintain control of the company's board after an anticipated initial public offering, Bloomberg reported Tuesday. Under the structure, the partners in Ant Financial, as the unit is known, will nominate a majority of directors, similar to the structure used by Alibaba in its IPO, the report said.
