Hong Kong Mulls Creation Of Class Action Regime

Law360, New York (November 06, 2009, 2:47 PM ET) -- Hong Kong is considering whether to allow class action litigation in the wake of losses Hong Kong minibond investors suffered from the collapse of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc.

A subcommittee of Hong Kong's Law Reform Commission published a consultation paper Nov. 5, proposing to introduce a mechanism in Hong Kong for multiparty litigation.
