Sun Investors Lose Bid To Join Securities Suit

Law360, New York (January 22, 2010, 4:03 PM ET) -- A group of investors with roughly $250 million in three funds run by Sun Capital Inc. has lost its bid to intervene in a massive securities case against the company.

In a ruling Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Judge John E. Steele shot down the intervention request by Annandale Partners LP and a slew of other investors representing roughly 40 percent of the alleged $550 million value of the investment funds in question.
