Law360, New York (April 20, 2010, 4:40 PM ET) -- A federal judge has refused to dismiss a negligence suit against the law firm Godwin Ronquillo PC and one of its former partners over their securities law advice to now-defunct AmeriFirst Funding Inc.
Chief Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas found Monday that the AmeriFirst receiver had alleged facts sufficient to support a malpractice claim against the firm and former partner Phillip W. Offill.
