Ernst & Young Added To Lehman Shareholder Complaint

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 5:01 PM ET) -- The lead plaintiffs in a securities fraud class action against Lehman Brothers Inc. have added Lehman's former outside auditor Ernst & Young LLP as a defendant for its alleged role in falsely approving the now-bankrupt bank's financial statements.

The amended complaint, filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, also adds a litany of detailed allegations in the wake of a March 2010 report issued by Jenner & Block LLP's Anton Valukas, who is serving as Lehman’s court-appointed examiner....
